The frequency converters are equipped with several customized functions for the control of single and multipump systems. These pump-specific functions help reduce the operational and maintenance costs of the entire pumping system lifecycle.
Frequency converters achieve these results by:

• Optimisation of energy consumption in parallel pump systems (boosters)
• Preventing cavitation and dry operation of pumps

KEY FEATURES
Inverter start-up
A frequency converter is an electronic device used to control the rotational speed and torque of an electric motor. The motor, in turn, drives a load (e.g. a pump). A frequency converter converts the mains AC voltage into DC voltage via a rectifier and is stabilised by the DC link capacitor bank. The inverter finally converts the DC voltage back into AC with variable frequency. Frequency inverters for primary water and waste water treatment applications are equipped with various customised functions for controlling single and multi-pump systems.

Components and applications
VARTEK control panel have a multifunctional display, a manual or automatic selector switch, and a switch-disconnector with door lock system.
A terminal block allows connection to external consumers and controls such as pressure switches, float switches, etc.
VARTEK control panels are optimal in various applications with:
- Industrial water pumps, booster pumps
- Rainwater lifting pumps, irrigation pumps (submersible or surface)
- Submersible pumps, waste water pumps
