Variable speed driver
A frequency converter is an electronic device used to control the rotational speed and torque of an electric motor. The motor, in turn, drives a load (such as a pump). A frequency converter converts the alternating current voltage of the network into direct current via a rectifier and is stabilized by the intermediate circuit capacitor bank. Finally, the inverter converts the voltage from direct current to alternating current with variable frequency again. Frequency converters for primary water and waste water treatment applications are equipped with several customized functions for controlling single and multipump systems.
