KEY FEATURES
Benefits control panels EN for motor pump
Compared to the previous UNI9490 standard, many more conditions have been added to be monitored and transmitted to a manned room or to a responsible person who can intervene immediately.
The rule also clarifies that the fire protection system must be certified in its complexity.
The pumping system and/or switchboards may be declared to conform to the standard by means of a manufacturer’s self-certification.
European Standard EN12845
The European standard UNI EN 12845 deals with fixed fire-fighting installations and the design, installation and maintenance of automatic sprinkler systems.
Mainly EN 12845 deals with giving rules and indications on the sizing of fire-fighting systems and the type of pumps, prescribing some general requirements and others specific to particular pumps.
Each pump must be installed with its own control panel in the same room, with the obvious exception of submersible pumps.
